We review High School Musical 3 AND Fireproof in one show just to get it over with. Tom Rates both a 0.0, Cecil rates Fireproof the same at 0.0, but gives HS3 a 0.01 for mockery value. We talk about the Balloon Boy, Obama getting the Nobel, the illegal alien costume controversy, the violence in Brazil, Bank of America and Raw water. We review Alien, both of us enjoyed it. Tom gives it a 4.25 and Cecil gives it a 4.9. We go over some e-mail. We talk about the movie review site Pajiba and the discussion group about the movie “Let the Right One In.” Both Tom and Cecil endorse Pajiba heartily. We review The Watchmen. We both dislike it for lots of reasons, Tom rates it a .75, Cecil gives it a 1.5.

We do a non-spoiler review of District 9. Tom and Cecil both think it is an amazing film, Tom rates it a 4.7 Cecil rates it 4.9. Tom thought the Wrestler was a fine film, giving it a 4.8, Cecil gives it a 3.8. We read e-mail and then talk about the next film: The Watchman, and then our Halloween episode after: Alien.

We review Iron Man. Tom doesn’t care for it and gives it a 2.0, Cecil likes it despite it’s flaws giving it a 3.62. We finish by reading email.

We review Milk. Tom thinks it isn’t a great plot but all the other elements are seemless, he gives it a 3.2, Cecil likes it much more giving it a 3.9.

This Week’s Show:
We begin by talking about waterboarding and the recent waterboarding of morning drive time shock jock Mancow Muller, and the former Minnesota governor talking about waterboarding on The View. We also discuss the outrage over the Canadian governor’s general eating a seal heart. We talk about the recent shootings in the holocaust museum and of the abortion doctor in Kansas as well as Sheppard Smith on Fox news talking about “scary e-mails.” We move on to the loss of data, which reveals the location of nuclear fuel by the government and a mock hanging/trial in Australia. We finish our intro talking about the anti-feminist movement Quiverfull.

We review Slumdog Millionaire. While both of us think it is cleaver, the story isn’t great, Tom gives it a 3.0 and Cecil gives it a 2.5. We find something else to criticize and bring back our Critics on Critics segment where we dissect the Animal Planet show, Whale Wars. We finish the show with a bit of e-mail. Our listeners have chosen Milk as our next movie review.
